Everyone is betraying Clark.
After interrogating most of Clark's friends, Diana is ready to finally ask Lois why she revealed Superman's identity and the answers won't be nice. Now, both Superman and Wonder Woman will need to resolve their problems the best they can despite of the consequences.
You know, this was actually a pretty good story for the most part.
Peter Tomasi delivers a new chapter that is focused both on character relationships and actions. The dynamic between Diana and Clark is really well done considering what has been happening between the two, the choices that Diana made were not the best and fortunately they're acknowledged by the story and the end result is a logical conclusion of it.
And Lois is portrayed as a complete scumbag.
Yeah, I have been complaining about the characterization of Lois during this event (especially in the main Superman book) but here she acts even more of an asshole when she's being interrogated under the Lasso of Truth which makes it even worse because this shows her true personality which is apparently the one of an egocentric douchebag.
This actually makes me wonder if she's eventually going to become a villain. I wouldn't be surprised at this point.
Doug Mahnke is still in charge of the pencils and his work continues to shine thanks to his strong storytelling and action scenes. There's a great widescreen feel during the issue.
I enjoyed this despite of some problems though. Is still an entertaining story.
