The Suicide Squad is worthless.
Black Manta is weak-willed, Harley Quinn is depressed, Deadshot can't shoot. Now, their only hope is The Reverse-Flash.
Is funny how a quick summary can't tell you everything what is wrong about a story.
Sean Ryan delivers the conclusion of this incredibly mediocre story with yet another terrible portrayal of most of the characters. Deadshot is still an useless sniper, Harley continues to be angsty about how much of a monster she is (which goes completely against her usual characterization) and Black Manta is simply an idiot who can be manipulated quite easily.
The only good thing about this Annual was The Reverse-Flash who shows a pretty logical development considering his history and makes him sympathetic. The problem is that this was probably mostly made because he was going to get killed in this issue (or maybe lost in time, is not really clear).
The story is so forgettable that is not even worth mentioning and the dialogue is still really lacking in terms of personality.
Philippe Briones is once again in art duties and his work is actually pretty good since he's able to create solid character models and action.
Other than that, this was a pretty worthless read and makes this book yet another addition to my top ten worst of this year.
