Batgirl will need all of her skills and a little help if she wants to beat her new enemy.
Several people including some of Barbara's friends have been ignorantly helping Velvet Tiger to accomplish her objectives. Now Barbara will be forced to face her and there might not be chance of survival.
What more can I say? I'm still loving this.
Cameron Stewart and Brenden Fletcher continue their little story about Batgirl's new villain Velvet Tiger and the writers fortunately manage to give her a lot of personality while at the same time creating a new interesting direction for the character.
Not only that but also several sub-plots involving the supporting cast are being developed including Frankie, Qadir, Luke, Alysia, etc. and all of them are connected one way or another to Babs. This allows for a pretty compelling read.
The art is handled by Bengal this time and his work is brilliant. There's a great sense of style that easily rivals Babs Tarr's work on the series and the storytelling is quite precise managing to capture both the action and humourous scenes perfectly.
Wonderful issue, this book can do no wrong.
