Reiser will need to fight against one of the most powerful superheroines on Earth.
The Teen Titans are currently chasing the monster that has been threatening the city without knowing that is actually just a boy. Now if Reiser wants to escape he will need to convince Wonder Girl before it's too late.
Yeah, this was actually enjoyable.
Scott Lobdell brings a new installment where he focuses on the confrontation between Reiser and Wonder Girl. As you might know, Lobdell has a history with the character of Cassie since he was the one who reintroduced her to the new DCU and created her new origin (with mixed results one might say). Fortunately, the writer manages to make the connection between both of them and shows why Wonder Girl was the right person to talk to him. It was logical overall.
The characterization is solid and despite of some missteps that Lobdell had with the Teen Titans franchise, he manages to portray all the characters here respectfully. Also, there's yet another character who is pretty familiar to Lobdell appearing at the end and again, it makes sense considering the nature of the protagonist.
Javier Fernandez handles the artwork and his style certainly fits in the energetic vibe that the story tries to evoke with strong action scenes and layouts.
Fun issue, shame that this was cancelled before its time.
