Some thoughts about Bizarro #4

Bizarro and Jimmy's friendship is going to become more complicated.

Bizarro has convinced his friend to go to see Zatanna's show but that could end-up turning everything even more in reverse and maybe that way they will learn to understand each other.

Hey, this was actually yet another entertaining issue.

Heath Corson continues to focus on the crazy adventures of this duo and how they interact with the rest of the DCU and the writer manages to include several characters and settings that are familiar to fans like Gemworld, Skartaris, the House of Mystery, the Rock of Ages, etc. It allows us to see a more humourous take on those places and it works for the kind of series they're appearing in.

There's also an interesting segment where both protagonists actually experiment what being each other means and it definitely works in terms of character development.

Gustavo Duarte still delivers the artwork and his comedic cartoony style still works nicely for the tone of the book. There's also a scene drawn by none other than Darwyn Cooke and it's simply beautiful.

Pretty enjoyable issue, hope that the book continues this way towards the end.
