Midnighter will need some extra help if he wants to succeed in his mission.
There's an underground club that is dedicated to kill vampires for the sake of making their members happy. Now, both Dick Grayson and Midnighter will need to face the person behind such murders and learn their connection to the Garden.
Two of my current favorite characters together, what more can I ask for?
Steve Orlando delivers a new chapter where he concentrates on the dynamic between Dick and Midnighter by emphasizing both their similarities and differences. The characterization is quite on-point and similar to the one that Tim Seeley and Tom King use for Dick in his own title, not only because of his personality but also because there's a huge level of sexiness that always follow the him. Is pretty obvious that the author has been doing his homework.
The connection between the two protagonists is made in a pretty logical way since the events that occur here are related to the Garden which was originally created in the Grayson series, is a pretty convenient way to make these two characters interact in a coherent plot.
Stephen Mooney is in charge of the pencils this time and his work manages to follow the style from the book perfectly with some solid storytelling skills.
Great issue, this title continues to impress.
