Some thoughts about Green Lantern Annual #4

The Green Lantern Corps is lost, how does this affect Hal Jordan?

Hal has been trying to gain a new reputation since he got Krona's Gauntlet and it apparently has been working since a new organization is going after him and this could mean terrible news for the universe.

It's good to have a story focusing on the ramifications of recent events.

Robert Venditti delivers a little tale about what happened to Hal in the time before the Corps was missing and he was being considered a renegade by his own friends. An interesting aspect about this is that this is told from Hal's perspective and there are certainly some strange events about it that are addressed later.

The characterization continues to be pretty nice with Hal and his new supporting cast having a strong dynamic and showing a lot of chemistry between them. It's also worth mentioning that this story presents a pretty solid characterization for Lobo that is actually better than the one he receives in his own book.

The plot also progresses with a new group preparing their own plans for the universe and is something that has been occurring since the beginning of this storyline.

Pascal Alixe and Martin Coccolo share the pencils this time and their work is really solid for their respective sections despite of their different styles.

Definitely a good read, my only complaint is that I wanted to read more about it.
