Some thoughts about Catwoman #44

Catwoman's world is about to be destroyed.

Eiko has been badly injured and Selina knows that she must start taking different actions. However, it might be too late since the battle between the mob families is finally starting.

Well, this is plot progression all right.

Genevieve Valentine delivers a new chapter where she effectively both characterization and story by focusing on the relationship between the different members from the cast like Selina and Eiko, Eiko and Stephanie and Selina and the rest of her family. Is a pretty satisfactory work in terms of dynamic between characters.

Not only that but the plot itself is reaching its climax due that the actions that the cast have been taking have finally forced Black Mask to take matters into his hands and this will definitely make things completely different for the series.

David Messina remains in art duties and his work is still beautifuly with a semi-cartoony style that is able to tell every moment from the script perfectly.

Great issue, glad to see this series back on track.
