The war is still going, yay?
Green Lantern will have to face his old enemy Solomon Grundy but both will now have to realize that they need to work together if they want to save the world.
Terrible pacing coupled with bad characterization. Awesome.
The worst thing about this is that the writer don't seem to know the history of this same title. Alan Scott was supposed to be the Avatar of the Green from Earth 2 and now there's yet another Avatar of the Green now.
Plus, what happened to the cold Solomon Grundy? Now he's apparently afraid of dying (which is funny considering he's already dead).
Also, the last page is kinda interesting but is nothing that particularly excites me.
The art is still quite predictable, the same settings over and over although I think I saw a page in different colors so that's something.
At this point this book is a continuity mess, I feel sorry for the people of Earth 2 and its fans.
Actually the woman who showed up was the voice of the green and not an avatar(hence why she pointed at grundy and he started hurling)
ResponderBorrarI dont think grundy is afraid of dying, i got more of a "If the earth is gone, i'll just be floating around in space alone" sort of vibe like he is doing this so he can make sure that the grey has a chance for a kingdom rather than nothing at all.
Is possible that the woman was actually the Green itself but it still doesn't make much sense that Alan was able to recognize her considering that he barely knew who he was talking about when they first met and they didn't talk again since then.
BorrarPlus, Grundy simply didn't sound as himself considering his previous appearances and origin. He probably simply wouldn't care about it.
As far as we know. bear in mind Alan died for a week, so theres a chance when he died he saw her.
BorrarWhich I think it would mean that they're making things up as they go since Alan didn't really mention anything when he wake up.
BorrarThen again, that's pretty much what's happening at Earth 2 currently.
so sick of Darkseid and his minions.
ResponderBorrarYou're definitely not the only one.
ResponderBorrarI wish this storyline was over already.
