Some thoughts about Aquaman #22

Dead Water is unstoppable.

The virus has been affecting people around Aquaman and now Mera and him will have to find a way to save them if it cost their own lives.

A solid conclusion overall.

Dan Abnett brings the final chapter of this arc by revealing the mystery of the Dead Water virus and putting more lives at risk. The character work is still pretty solid and the fact that they made a few of the members of the cast into the creatures they're trying to stop makes the story much more engaging.

Plus, there are a few sub-plots being developed here, some that will most likely be developed in the following issues, particularly the next arc which will be centered in Arthur and Mera's relationship.

Philippe Briones handles the artwork and is quite good with a clean style and expressive characters.

Consistent once again, not great but a good read nonetheless.
