Some thoughts about Transformers #48

What's the mystery behind Blackrock's actions?

Buster and D.O.C. have been forced to interact with each other and that might be the Autobots' last chance of survival.

I've been smiling during the whole issue.

John Barber brings a new chapter where he concentrates on both D.O.C. and Buster and how they interact with each other and the rest of the cast. The dynamic between the two is simply adorable and the writer manages to make a narration that perfectly encapsulates the way they communicate with the world. Is the kind of lighthearted entertainment that I can get behind.

That's not the only great aspect though since Barber manages to progress the plot by making both protagonists actually be major players in how the story unfolds and thus brings the most exciting part of the chapter where secrets are finally revealed.

Andrew Griffith handles the artwork and it continues to be beautiful with really expressive characters and a great storytelling that gets the best of these scenes.

Excellent read, easily one of my favorites.
