Constantine will need the help of Swamp Thing if he wants to save the city.
Just when John thought that he could have some free time with his new boyfriend, strange murders started to appear around the city and they all seem to be connected to The Green.
Huh, the series is actually becoming better.
Ming Doyle and James Tynion IV deliver a new chapter where they focus mostly on two things: John's romantic life and the monsters of the month. Both segments are fortunately well-executed with the scenes between John and his boyfriend being quite enjoyable, especially when they clash with the supernatural side of John's life.
Speaking of which, Swamp Thing's involvement proves to be entertaining too due that the writers manage to create a nice contrast between Constantine and him as well as creating pretty distinctive dialogue to emphasize such differences. About the plot, is pretty obvious that the creators are preparing something big in the future.
This time Brian Level handles the breakdowns while Riley Rossmo finishes the job and the result is a pretty good looking style overall that makes every bizarre segment even better.
Yep, liking this more and more, hope it continues this way.
