Some thoughts about Ms. Marvel #2

Ms. Marvel has bigger things to worry about than having a romantic life.

Even weirder events have been happening lately around the city and the people that Kamala cares about could be the most affected.

Well, this was certainly an improvement over the previous issue.

G. Willow Wilson continues her work in this title and fortunately she doesn't dwell too much into the cliche "I'm jealous of your new relationship despite that I constantly rejected you before" route and instead developes the world around Kamala with appearances of new characters and threats (although if Bruno's girlfriend ends-up being a villain like they're hinting here I will be pretty disappointed).

Plus, there are some charming moments coming from Kamala's brother who finally found himself someone he would like get married with (and this kind of relationship for someone with his beliefs is appropriately handled) while the relationships between Kamala and the rest of the cast is as good as you would expect.

Takeshi Miyasawa still handles the art and his work is pretty good with a pretty manga inspired work that allows for pretty solid expressions.

Enjoyable issue, hope that the series continues this way.
