The Hawkeyes will have to go against one of the most powerful beings in the world.
The Mandarin is wondering what is the reason behind the presence of both Clint and Kate in his home and he will quickly learn about it once that their past mistakes reveal themselves.
Yep, Jeff Lemire continues to rock Hawkeye's world.
The story progresses satisfactorily with the writer handling the plot-point he started since the last volume about the kids with strange powers who were taken from both Clint and Kate and now they need to solve such problem. The conflict is revealed little by little and it certainly reaching its climax.
I also love how Lemire uses the transition between the flashback scenes with the protagonists having simple lives and present time where they have to fight for their own sake. The characterization works nicely for every member of the cast including some familiar faces here and there while the dialogue also depicts their personality perfectly.
Ramon Perez remains in art duties and his work is still outstanding by being able to experiment with his style in both the flashback and present time segments while preserving the overall look of the book.
Quite strong issue, this series can't do no wrong.
