The Justice League has been separated.
After spending a while inside of the House of Secrets, Adam Strange has been lost in a strange dimension and is up to them to find him and maybe unlock more secrets.
As I said before, I'm going to miss this title even despite that this might not be the strongest chapter of this run.
Jeff Parker delivers the finale of his work in this title with a creative story that brings a lot of interesting ideas into the mix which include the House of Secrets as well as the nature between Adam and Alanna's relationships and the latter's origins. There are a lof compelling concepts and at one point it seems like Parker had a bigger story planned here, one that I wish he would have been able to tell.
The problem is that while all those ideas are quite intriguing and makes the issue feel full of content, it doesn't work so well in terms of story. The pacing is pretty messy at times with the whole group spending a little time in different places for no apparent reasons aside from the fact that Parker wanted to include those scenarios in the story. Execution-wise is not the best.
Travel Foreman is a great artist that I really like but I don't think this is his best work either. His character models can look pretty awkward at times and the storytelling is erratic too.
Not one of my favorites but I still liked it for the things it brought.
