Some thoughts about Justice League of America #6

It's the Justice League against the fury of a God once again.

Rao is expanding his influence around the world but Superman and the rest of the team has finally realized his true nature and ready to stop them despite that the odds are against them.

Not terrible but not great either.

Bryan Hitch offers a new chapter where he plays with the ramifications of the revelations that happened a few issues early. The problem is that most of the chapter is dedicated to the JL fighting against Rao and his followers and for that reason it feels quite underwhelming, is not like the battles are particularly intense either, is just a bunch of scenes about people punching people and explosions, lots of explosions.

I suppose that from a "widescreen" angle it delivers but from a plot perspective is quite lackluster. Some of the developments happen in a few pages but there is so little about them that they might as well not exist.

Hitch's art can be impressive looking at times although I still feel that is not as good as his old work, not quite as polished with a few lines looking rough.

Average, average, average and considering that this series already had a filler issue by other authors this is quite worrisome.
