Someone is coming after Batgirl even if she doesn't realize it.
There's problems all around Burnside including typical street gangs and organized mobs and is upt to Barbara to find Spoiler and stop this.
Well, I wanted a team-up with Stephanie Brown and I got it.
Brenden Fletcher and Cameron Stewart bring a new chapter where they concentrate on the different events that are happening around Barbara including the relationship with her friends, her partnership with Frankie, how she deals with crime in Burnside and her dynamic with other vigilantes.
Speaking of which, I really liked the interaction between Babs and Steph. Based on the kind of characterization they have received in the current continuity it felt pretty accurate. Steph was perfectly portrayed as lighthearted but still competent at her work, it was quite nice for old fans.
About the story, the writers continue to play the long game including several sub-plots that will most likely be used in the future. I'm especially interested in the ones concerning Frankie.
Babs Tarr continues to handle the pencils and is still and incredibly beautiful and distinctive work that makes every character here look gorgeous.
Quite entertaining issue, wish the next one would come sooner.
