The Suicide Squad is still useless.
Amanda Waller is trying to save her own organization and the only way she can do it is by getting rid of Vic Sage. However, this could prove to be more difficult than expected.
Some things worked, others didn't.
For one, Sean Ryan creates a scenario where he implements politics to explain why the world doesn't need Waller nor her Suicide Squad and it works for the most part, the problem is that such argument comes from a recently introduced character that we don't really know and for that reason is a bit hollow since doesn't present an important conflict for the characters.
Also, Harley is still emo as hell. I don't know why Ryan thought this was a good direction for the character but it gets pretty tiring, so much that even Captain Boomerang comments about it and credit where credit is due, I still enjoy his portrayal here.
Philippe Briones still handles the art and his work continues to be solid with expressive characters and a decent storytelling technique.
Not bad, not great and is obvious that Ryan is preparing himself for the end.
