The era of Hercules is starting to end.
Tired of always being taken as a joke, Hercules is decided to start acting like a true hero but there are bigger concerns at hand due that mysterious forces around him are starting to act against him.
I'm enjoying this more than what I was expecting.
Dan Abnett delivers a new chapter where he continues to explore the idea about Hercules trying to give the example as the first superhero and it certainly continues to be an interesting one. One of the most enjoyable aspects of the series is how much Herc seems to be a "hero of the people" by solving problems in his neighborhood and trying to get along with the rest of the persons who live there.
The worldbuilding is also pretty solid due that Abnett is exploring the different mythological beings who live among humans and collaborate with the protagonist while at the same time setting-up a potential threat for upcoming issues.
Luke Ross and Emilio Laiso handle the art and is beautiful work overall with great looking and expressive characters and precise storytelling.
Definitely entertaining, invested in the following issues.
