Some thoughts about Daredevil #2

Tenfingers is expanding his control over the city.

Daredevil is trying to train his new partner Blindspot but the kid is not making things easy. However, both will need to work together if they want to stop the threat that is affecting everyone.

I'm impressed about how unimpressive this is.

Charles Soule continues his story and for people who have been reading my thoughts, I tend to like his work and he should be a perfect fit for this but I'm still not feeling his story. The chapter in question continues the plot about Tenfingers but is lacking a real hook.

Neither the narration nor the dialogue are great and at times it feels a bit overwritten with the characters saying more than they should and leaving very little to the imagination and as a villain, Tenfingers is not that interesting to be invested in him.

The biggest problem for me is Blindspot, I hate the kid already. He keeps talking about how many followers he has and throwing random words to try sound "young" and "edgy" and it doesn't feel real. It seems like the author is trying to hard to make him sound like a teenager and for that matter, it ends-up being pretty forced.

Ron Garney continues on art duties and while his style is quite distinctive, I'm already getting tired of it. The whole black and red tone of the book is getting tedious and doesn't allow for a lot of different scenarios.

Not really good, disappointing actually.
