The dream will never die.
Six Pack has been fighting with his own mind about how everything he has been doing might be for nothing, he might not be even real. However, Superman will make him realize that he's more important than he thought.
The end of this hilarious miniseries is here and is even more charming than I expected.
Garth Ennis brings the final chapter of his return to the character of Six Pack by using some of the concepts he introduced in Hitman to give the protagonist more depth. There are some strong and emotional themes going on here, about how it doesn't matter if what someone does is completely useless in the eyes of others, as long as what you do makes you happy everything is all right.
Of course, it kinda defeats the purpose when you make so much fun of everything in a crude style by making characters kill themselves in humilliating ways. Then again, this series is known for its ridiculous takes on superheroes so what else did you expect?
John McCrea handles the artwork and is one of his best efforts here yet. He's especially good at drawing Superman, despite of his rough style, McCrea can draw a magnificent Man of Steel.
Solid conclusion for an entertaining story. Well done.
