What's the next step for Cyborg?
After fighting for so long, Victor has finally found the solution to stop the technobeings that are attacking the world but by doing so, he will reveal one of his biggest secrets.
Well, this continues to follow suit, what else can I say?
David Walker delivers the final chapter of his initial storiarc, the problem is that it continues to have the same flaws as in previous installments. The story itself is pretty mediocre due that we don't see anything particularly surprising (even the whole "reveal" has been done before) and the writing is not particularly impressive either.
At worst though, this can be even more problematic. The transitions continue to be pretty poor with once again the characters appearing directly in battle without showing what happened in between and the conclusion for it ends-up being a bit too easy and anticlimactic considering how long this story has been going. Even the themes about man Vs. machine are not handled in a satisfying way.
Oh yeah, and I'm still not digging the whole "Sarah is in love with Victor" without showing how it happened or more importantly, WHY it happened.
Ivan Reis handles the layouts while Felipe Watanabe, Daniel HDR and Cliff Richards finish the job and the result is a good looking albeit not really cohesive, work. Looks good for the most part at least.
Average once again along with some heavy flaws. Not recommended.
