Some thoughts about We Are Robin #7

The Court of the Owls' attack is unstoppable.

The Robin movement is currently captured and the rest of the Batfamily is not doing so well by themselves but all of them will need to work together to escape.

I suppose I should have read the other chapters of Robin War to understand what happened here right?

I'm not following some titles like Detective Comics and Robin: Son of Batman so I don't understand how the Robins ended-up being captured but it doesn't really affect my enjoyment of the story. There is also some solid character work for most of the cast including Dick, Gordon, Damian and some of the protagonists.

The problem is that the crossover itself affects the title negatively and despite that such event is based on this title in particular it doesn't feel like it because the main characters from this chapter are mostly the Batfamily itself. Sure, Duke gets a bit of narration but the true action comes from others. Plus, there isn't a lot of content.

Carmine Di Giandomenico is in charge of the art this time and his work is pretty good, he manages to get a lot of expression from the cast.

Not a bad issue at all but I'm glad that the next one is not focused on the event.
