Batman and the Joker will have to learn to work together before is too late.
The virus that infected the two of them is getting worse just like the common enemy that they're currently facing due that is doing everything in his power to kill them.
Well, this is still a team-up between Batman and the Joker all right but I don't think I liked it as much as the last chapter.
Matteo Casali and Brian Azzarello continue their story where they develope a bit more the relationship between the two protagonists and there are some interesting moments about their dynamic. They obviously complement each other pretty well and there scenes where the Joker acts in a surprising way. The mystery around their infection is also progressing while the culprit's identity remains hidden.
However, is kinda by the numbers. If you want a Brave and the Bold take on these characters you have it but is pretty predictable in its execution, not many surprises about it. Also, some of the typical Azzarellisms like the use of puns can get old after you have read so many of his works.
Giuseppe Camuncoli handles the art instead of Jim Lee this time and I definitely prefered Lee's work. Camuncoli's work is solid but a bit stiff and while Lee's work can also be stiff at times, I think he depicts more vibrant scenes overall.
So yeah, not as enjoyable. Hope things start to improve.
