The Cheetah has arrived to Themyscira and is up to Wonder Woman to stop her.
Barbara Minerva is looking for the Eye of Antiope due that she believes it can give her immortality and Diana will have to use all of her wisdom to prevent that from happening.
"Wisdom" my ass. This might be one of the blandest things I've ever read.
Meredith Finch delivers a new chapter where this time she focuses on a conflict between Wonder Woman and her archenemy the Cheetah and if you were expecting something climactic and interesting here then you haven't been paying attention to this run.
Cheetah is the one who suffers the most here since the dialogue that Finch gives her makes like a simple one-dimensional criminal and pretty weak to boot in terms of character. Even the narration itself can be pretty awkward since Barbara would start talking to herself revealing all of her plans out of nowhere.
There are some sub-plots being progressed but they concentrated on secondary characters that nobody really cares about.
Miguel Mendonca handles the art and is not bad, at times it looks pretty solid but I wouldn't call it great. Plus, whatever happened to Diana's new costume? Does anyone know?
I don't even know what I was expecting from this, something a bit better at least? Is my own damn fault.
