Some thoughts about Justice League 3001 #7

The Justice League is about to suffer yet another change.

Several members of the team have died and now is up to the remaining ones to keep fighting no matter if the odds are against them.

I'm surprised about how much content this series delivers month by month.

Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis bring a new chapter where they focus on the repercussions of what happened in the last few issues, about the different new characters who were introduced and the ones who just died. The creators bring a interesting new status quo where all the members of the team are now female and is something quite exciting to see since there are not many books with this kind of cast.

Speaking about the content, there's a lot. The authors manage to include a lot of story in each issue and this one is no different. We see how the relationships between the heroines start to grow, all of them react in their own unique ways and many of these plot-points will most likely play important roles in the future.

Chris Batista handles the art this time and his work is quite fitting for the series thanks to his expressive characters and storytelling.

Pretty enjoyable issue, hope the next one arrives soon.
