Superman will have to learn how to live like a man again.
Clark has been seriously depowered and worst of all, his identity has been revealed. However, no matter the circunstances, he will always fight for what it's right.
This is the start of the new storyline Truth that is going to run over the course of the Superman family of books, so how does this opening chapter fares?
Damn well I would say.
Greg Pak focuses on Clark Kent that feels more human than ever by exploring what it feels to not having his usual abilities and having to deal with the usual needs that are ironically alien to him. The characterization is great with the author showing how good Clark is with or without powers and presenting him quite likable.
The story also progresses solidly with the main plot being developed and apparently is connected to Clark's home while also exploring a mystery behind all of these attacks.
Aaron Kuder is once again, I huge aspect of the success of this work thanks to his wonderful storytelling that make the story even better and manage to depict every character and action scene quite nicely.
Great issue and still one of the best Superman books currently.
