Some thoughts about Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #42

One of the best aspects from the Lost Light's crew could be their downfall.

A strange horde of creatures are attacking the people inside the Vis Vitalis and infecting them with a dangerous virus and the only way they will survive this is with the help of their captains.

Okay, this issue definitely made me laugh a lot.

James Roberts brings the conclusion of this little storyline about the meeting between the two ships by presenting a threat that is three things: Creative, ridiculous and hilarious. The way how these creatures work is definitely something I haven't seen before and I appreciate the way how the writer is able to use this premise in his favor.

Speaking of such creatures, the way how Roberts utilizes them to emphasize the qualities of the characters is pretty nice. It allows for some strong character work as well as an interesting way to defeat them that brought a smile to my face.

Plus, the focus on Nautica was something I quite enjoy.

Alex Milne continues on art duties and his work is still amazing with beautiful character and a pretty vibrant, expressive and creative style.

Excellent issue and this series continues to impress.
