Sinestro is becoming more dangerous and is up to his daughter to stop him.
Soranik has spend a while in the Sinestro Corps to know what are some of the worst aspects of it and most of them include his father. However, not even the power of a Green Lantern could be able to stop him.
Well, this title and Cullen Bunn return. So, is he able to make this title more interesting in comparison to previous issues?
Well, just as Lobo, the answer is big NOPE!
To be fair though this title is not as bad a Lobo in terms of blandness since at least here Bunn presents an interesting conflict between Sinestro and Soranik that actually has a nice resolution that unfortunately wa already spoiled by the sneak peek of this same book and due to that reason it kinda loses its strenght.
Still, this title has a lot of similarities to Lobo and sadly that is mostly based on the characterization. Sinestro is just here to demonstrate how cold and competent he is but doesn't really show any personality besides that, there's not a lot of depth and it seems like Bunn is just dedicated to write a character that seems better than everybody else (despite that he's not particularly smarter than everybody else).
The story itself is not bad per se but it lacks more distinctiveness to be more appealing. It's a nicely-told chapter but not something mindblowing.
Brad Walker is on art duties and I frankly have seen better work from him in titles like Green Lantern: New Guardians. Sadly, the pencils here are not as vibrant nor creative.
Overall, okay issue but this still fails to impress me.
