The Secret Six are suddenly free and the city is going to pay for it.
Big Shot has allowed the rest of the group to stay in his house but they're not really accustomed to be in a neighborhood nor next to each other for that matter. However, there might be something even more important that they should be concerned about aside from their social skills.
After being delayed for so long this title return and I must say that the wait was worthy.
Gail Simone brings a kind of chapter that is quite reminiscent to the last Secret Six series by focusing on the relationship between all the members from the cast as well as how they interact with the rest of the world. The humour is well-done and definitely offers a lot of personality for all the members of the cast.
The team dynamics are nicely executed due that the writer builds the connection between the different characters being either Catman and Strix, Big Shot and Black Alice or The Ventriloquist and Porcelain, all of them receive nice conversations to develope their relationships.
Also, the ending was certainly interesting.
Dale Eaglesham is in charge of pencils and his work is stunnning with every character looking beautiful and demonstrating perfect storytelling skills.
Great issue, good to see this book coming back stronger than ever.
