Some thoughts about Teen Titans #14

The Teen Titans will have to fight for their lives once again.

The Alpha Centurion has come after them with his own team and now the group will have to use all of their abilities if they want to survive. However, they might need a bit of extra help.

Scott Lobdell has arrived to the title once again and believe it or not, this is not really a bad thing here.

Will Pfeifer is still present in the story but this undoubtly a Lobdell issue. The action starts pretty early in the issue and is actually a nicely paced story in that regard with everything happening pretty fast but in an enjoyable way.

The dialogue is also well-handled with every character speaking in energetic and distinctive ways while not suffering from the usual Lobdell stuff like overexposition (at least not too much).

The art though, my God it was terrible. Noel Rodriguez handles it and is a quite poor work in terms of storytelling since is pretty hard to tell what's happening at times, the overall look is not much better either.

Not great but not as bad as it could have been.
