Superman will need to trust Batman before it's too late.
Clark is working alongside the Batfamily to try to stop Vandal Savage but he still doesn't know how to deal with Gordon. However, both will soon learn that they have more in common than they could have imagined.
First of all, that cover is a lie.
Second, this was a better chapter than the last few ones I believe. Greg Pak delivers the actual ending for this particular story and it contains a lot of pretty solid characterization considering Clark, Bruce and Gordon. He manages to include all of their portrayals here and create a nice contrast for them.
The problem is that in terms of story this felt a bit rushed. It seems like Pak was forced to start and end this story abruptly and for that matter it doesn't feel satisfying in terms of plot. In terms of characterization it definitely feels like a conclusion but not so much in other aspects.
Cliff Richards and Jack Herbert share art duties with Richards handling the present time scenes and Herbert the flashbacks. I think that Richards is definitely the better artist of the two thanks to his semirealistic style but Herbert doesn't do a bad job.
Pak did a good job at getting the characters right but I'm hoping that Taylor does better in terms of stories in his following arc.
