Some thoughts about Batgirl #13

Batgirl will have to help a villain this time.

Someone has been stealing pets around town and that has also caught the attention of Catwoman. Now is up to Barbara and her to stop the culprit.

You know, this would be cute if it wasn't so mediocre.

Hope Larson brings an one-and-done story where she creates a team-up between Batgirl and Catwoman and despite of the premise, I didn't really like this one. I mean, is an issue about pets so it should be an immediate favorite for me and it does have its charming moments but sadly, as most of this run, the execution as a whole leaves a lot to be desired since the story is presented in a barely decent manner.

Plus, Catwoman is portrayed almost as a caricature of her usual self, almost like if this was a cartoon version of the character with the usual ticks of her personality being exaggerated.

Inaki Miranda's artwork is pretty solid on the other hand with a pretty clean and vibrant style that is a good fit for the book.

Other than that, you can perfectly skip this one, nothing really good to see.
