The Green Lantern Corps' last stand is here.
Guy and the rest of his team are fighting against the Blackest Knights and lots of lives are gone. However, Simon thinks there might be a way to escape all of this.
Yep, the end is here and while I thought this was a dull series for the most part, I thought this was a decent ending.
Tom Taylor arrives with the final chapter of his story and it seems like he wanted to pack all the content that was lacking in previous issues here. Several interesting moments happening consisting of the dead of many members of the Corps (which at least receive some moments or lines depicting who they were at least) and Taylor creates a logical idea to make the whole group return to their own universe.
Mind you, this doesn't compensate for how boring the last installments were but the writer executes some of the scenes about the final battle nicely with a solid sense of desperation and hope that such event deserves. Plus, there's a satisfying conclusion for this particular world.
Scott McDaniel handles the breakdowns while Jack Herbert finishes the art and the result is a solid look with expressive characters and serviceable action scenes.
Not one of the best miniseries but at least it managed to close this arc in a way that makes sense.
