Wonder Woman is looking for the truth but is she ready for it yet?
Diana has been searching for a person who can help in her quest meanwhile Steve Trevor is trying to fight his own battles but somehow all of this seems connected.
I suppose this also marks the proper beginning of Greg Rucka's run on the title considering the Rebirth issue was just a prologue.
The writer focuses on the main story suited in the present here with Diana looking for "the truth" of his origins. Some of the dialogue is a bit awkward and repetitive in this section due to Rucka's insistence of keep repeating the same theme over and over just like in the Rebirth issue. Still, the final page proves to be interesting enough to keep reading and I'm glad the writer is planning to use that character again.
Surprisingly enough, the best written part of the issue was the one focusing on Steve Trevor and his role in a war where he needs to figure out what's going on. Good characterization and dialogue all around. I'm also glad that Rucka is incorporating Etta Candy to the book again.
Liam Sharp handles the artwork and is pretty solid for the most part with good looking characters (aside from a particular one) and precise storytelling.
Intriguing so far, hope that the next issue focusing on Diana's origin is better though.
