Some thoughts about Suicide Squad's Most Wanted: Deadshot and Katana #6

Missions are about to end one way or another.

Katana and Kobra are on the edge of their final conflict while Deadshot will have to risk his life to save his daughter.

Well, this just went as well as expected.

Mike W. Barr arrives with the final chapter of his story by showcasing the fight between Katana, the Suicide Squad, the Outsiders and the organization of Kobra and quite frankly, is just a big brawl with nothing particularly great about it either in terms of action or characterization. It manages to bring some of the classic Outsiders characters together but it doesn't do it in a way that leaves you with a good impression.

Diogenes Neves handles the artwork and is pretty solid but once again, is not one of his best works since is not as distinctive as previous efforts.

Brian Buccellato also shows the final fight between the two Deadshots and this works a little better due to the good characterization (although I feel like Will Smith got killed a bit too fast and in a kinda anticlimactic way). The final pages are on-point with the kind of portrayal and history the writer has been implementing.

Viktor Bogdanovic is in charge of the pencils and I think he's a pretty underrated artist, he could easily become one of the best currently thanks to his beautiful characters and strong storytelling.

Overall, this hasn't been a strong miniseries but the Deadshot segments were enjoyable at least.
