Swindle lives or at least that's what many people believe.
Cybertron is under constant chaos due to the recent events and their people are not willing to obey the law. Is up to Windblade and the rest of the council to try to control the world before is too late.
Here we go again. Another Windblade series handled by the same author.
Yes, this has a different sub-title but is basically another Windblade book by Mairghread Scott which is not bad per se. I like Windblade as a character (although certain developments about her are not the best) and the concept of more Cybertron being explore is interesting enough. So, does this issue is good in those aspects?
I would say kinda.
Scott's story starts with a mystery that she has been developing since the last miniseries, what happened to Swindle? Which is apparently so important that several people in Cybertron are concerned about it. Despite of how weak the premise might seem at first, is handled in a decent way with Windblade and the rest of the cast trying to protect the people and also prevent them from causing more damage.
The characterization is solid with each member of the cast acting the way they should. Aside from that though, there's nothing particularly surprising about their portrayals, I liked the way Scott handled the Combaticons but again, it doesn't present anything really deep about their personalities. The worldbuilding is okay but suffers from the same problems.
Sara Pitre-Durocher's artwork is solid but seemed a bit less distinctive than before. It might be because of different inkers but I didn't find it that appealing this time.
Overall, is not a bad first entry but not great either.
