Some thoughts about Justice League #51

Darkseid caused more damages to the universe than expected.

Is the first time that Robin meets the Justice League and he's too nervous to get along with them. However, an interdimensional threat will force him to earn his place in the team immediately.

This is an one-and-done story but is also connected to the new Titans series and in works nicely in both ways.

Dan Abnett arrives with a story suited in the past where he explores the first meeting between Dick Grayson and the Justice League. There are several good moments of characterization from every member from the cast, especially Dick and each one of them are pretty accurate (aside from The Flash who for some reason acts more like an asshole).

Not only that but Abnett also manages to make the connection between Dick and Victor. It seems like Abnett wants to bring all the Titans together for his upcoming series by cementing the relationship between several key members and also planting the seeds for Dick's prominent role in the future.

The story is not that impressive but it gets the job done while showing why Dick Grayson should be in the team as well as demonstrating how strong the relationship between Batman and him is.

Paul Pelletier handles the artwork and is pretty good looking with expressive and beautiful characters and stronjg action scenes.

Solid issue, hope the new Titans book is just as good.
