Batman and his partners need to solve a case but they may not be ready for it.
Batwoman is pushing the rest of the team a bit too hard but she believes is for the better. However, they will soon need to get over it once that the Batmen start to attack.
Okay, some solid stuff going on here.
For one James Tynion IV focuses this issue mostly on characterization by showing how Batwoman is handling this whole case and being an even tougher trainer than Batman which is accurate considering her background. The rest of the cast also receive some good scenes showcasing their personalities while the mystery is slowly being developed.
I have some complaints though, I haven't been following Tim and Steph's relationship so far but seeing that they're already sleeping together seems a bit abrupt, especially considering that it haven't been long since she was reintroduced. Were they already in the relationship or something?
Eddy Barrows' artwork is decent, he has the proper dark tone that is appropriate for a Batbook and he depicts the scene nicely enough.
This was enjoyable aside from nitpicks, nice read.
