Superman is dead and there's no better person to replace him than Lex Luthor.
Metropolis and the Daily Planet are honoring Clark the best way they can but Lex believes there are better ways to do so.
This is yet another issue that is connected to Rebirth and I also find it pretty interesting.
Dan Jurgens handles the perspective of Lex Luthor about the death of Superman and how this is all connected to his own beliefs. Jurgens does a solid job at portraying Lex by focusing on the background created by Geoff Johns which is mostly centered on his own mentality as well as his past and family.
Is overall an interesting take which definitely plays a lot with the kind of superheroism that the character brings to the table which is especially obvious once that he starts dealing with criminals. All accurate to the kind of person he is.
Tom Grummett is in charge of the artwork and is pretty decent with expressive characters and clear storytelling.
Not a bad way to start Lex's story for Action Comics. Mind you, I don't know why it had to take place here of all titles but eh.
