The Apocalypse continues to rise.
Velma Dinkley has contacted the only people she thinks can help her to fight the infection she produced but it might be already too late.
This reinvention continues and I'm happy to say that is just as entertaining as the last issue.
Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis bring the new chapter where once again they show how these characters are new versions but also still have the essence of the originals. You can get a lot of personality from the different interactions they have as well as the comedic dialogue from every scene where they appear.
Not only that but the story also manages to have some serious moments once that the cast is forced to commit desperate actions to survive and their reactions are pretty understandable. Add the different little winks to the original cartoon as well as the content-packed and fast-paced plot and you get a lot of meat for you buck.
Howard Porter remains in art duties and his work is still stunning with powerful and vibrant action scenes and a great creativity to depict bizarre alien creatures.
Fun issue, hope the following ones are just like this.
