Do Archie and Veronica really belong together?
Veronica has been trying to help in Archie's house the best way she can but that might be a bit too strange for his family. Now they will have to learn that maybe their differences are not so bad.
This is the book that refuses to disappoint.
Mark Waid brings a new chapter where he focuses on the inevitable conflict between Veronica and Archie's parents which, while is not as problematic as the one that Archie has with her father, is still pretty complicated. The contrast between the different lifestyles they have is clear since the beginning and all of it is depicted in pretty humouristic way but thankfully, none of the characters here are unlikable about it.
Veronica genuinely acts like a girl who doesn't know how to behave in this kind of environment and her intentions to help are also honest, is just that she can't understand this kind of life. The rest of the cast also get an interesting moment including Betty who still fits into the classic love triangle.
Veronica Fish handles the artwork and is perfect for the book with really expressive characters and a beautiful and distinctive style that makes the story even better.
Charming as ever, wish that most comics were like this.
