Some thoughts about Transformers: Sins of the Wreckers #5

Yet another last stand but the work never ends for some of the Wreckers.

Tarantulas is decided to destroy everyone in his way to take revenge on Prowl. However, there are things that not even the monster knows and Springer will be forced to end this battle one way or another.

Well, this was quite the ride and ending.

Nick Roche brings the final chapter of his story by focusing once again on several of the developments he created here and in the rest of his IDW work including many of the loose threads from previous stories. We get the logical character development for Springer after all the battles he endured, Guzzle's inevitable conflict with the culprits of his friends' deaths, the honesty behind Prowl's words and most importantly the connection between Tarantulas, Springer and Prowl and the reason why the latter trusts the leader of the Wreckers so much.

Content-wise is a quite satisfying read and it even manages to create some plot-points for future stories. There are exciting new reveals concerning a lot of the members of the cast and it makes me hope the creator return soon to them.

Roche's art shines as usual with a great sense of pacing and style that makes every panel tell a lot of what's happening and the action scenes are quite detailed and intense.

Great issue and conclusion, let's pray that Roche doesn't take a while to write about these characters again.
