There's hope for Earth 2.
Hawkgirl is trying to make Fury join the rest of the Wonders to save the world. However, the Ultra-Humanite has other plans.
I don't know if I should be excited or not about this premise.
Dan Abnett brings a new chapter where he still focuses on both plot and character development. The cast continues to be nicely portrayed while each conversation seems to be made especifically to deliver plot-points that I'm glad they're progressing like for example Fury's place in the team as well as finally Dick Grayson's son being remembered which is something that was completely forgotten during the last run.
More importantly though, the writer is hinting that there might a way to restore the last Earth 2 that was destroyed. This the part where I don't wan't to expect a lot since I loved the last Earth 2 and the worldbuilding James Robinson created but at the same time I get this might just be something that the heroes won't be able to achieve.
Federico Dallocchio handles the artwork and is pretty solid with expressive characters although it can look a bit stiff at times.
Solid once again, hoping for the better in following issues.
