The Avengers are reunited but that could be for the worst.
The strange alien creature who has been attacking the group lately is becoming more and more dangerous, especially because with the help of another person with similar interests and this could be a disaster for everyone around them.
Second issue and sadly, I'm still not impressed.
Mark Waid brings a new chapter where he continues to introduce members from the team one by one. The characterization is pretty solid as you would expect with every member from the cast acting as they should. The dynamic between them is also pretty good with some fun moments coming from Ms. Marvel and Nova.
However, the story itself is not particularly interesting and falls into the stereotypical "heroes reunite to fight a common enemy" that doesn't offer much beyond that. Worst of all, there's not a lot of progress, it seems like very little happened during this issue and I still don't really care about the threat at all.
Adam Kubert continues to handle the artwork and is still quite good looking with powerful action scenes and beautiful expressive characters.
Not bad but not great, I don't think I will keep checking this out despite that I like the cast.
