The Green Lanterns will have to overcome their own fear to save themselves.
Jessica has been infected by rage and is up to Simon to help her despite that he has his own doubts if this will work or not.
Okay, I've no doubts at this point: This book is simply badly written.
From the early pages you will notice the major problem with Sam Humphries' story: The narration. I mean, there are ways to try to make your narration witty without making it look like is trying so hard that is funny that it just becomes unrealistic and obnxious. There are several attempts at "humour" that simply fail hard and makes almost every single page hard to stomach.
That's hardly the only problem with it since everything here is overwritten, both narration boxes and dialogue. Especially the latter that at points it seems like is trying to mimic Brian Bendis' style but it never manages to sound natural and for that matter it reads much worse.
Good stuff? The characterization I guess? It seems like Simon is at least trying to work with Jess this time but this whole conflict between the two has been so forced that is just unnecessary. At least is over. The story is pretty by the numbers and doesn't present any surprise.
Ed Benes, Robson Rocha and Tom Derenick share art duties and while their looks okay at times, is a bit inconsistent in some segments.
Officially dropped, I suggest you to do the same.
