This is yet another interdimensional mess that Wolverine will have to handle.
Laura has suddenly found herself in another body and place while Gwen Stacy is having the exact same experience as her. Now both will have to find the culprit and solve this situation before causing any more damage.
Yet another successful team-up right here.
Tom Taylor simply doesn't waste any time in the premise of this story and jumps straight up to both Laura and Gwen finding themselves in each other's bodies. This allows for some classic comic book misunderstandings and events where both have to deal with their own sort of powers and supporting cast. This not only creates an interesting character work for Laura but also makes you intrigued for the world where Spider-Gwen exists and actually makes you want to check her title (it worked for me at least).
The way how the story developes is mostly focused on classic and fun superheroics while the characters try to not kill themselves in their new bodies with a lot of scenes devoted to the comedic moments between the two and the conclusion is not your typical superhero beats up the bad guy stuff.
Marcio Takara handles the artwork and is full of life with really expressive characters and a vibrant tone that creates really good action scenes.
Quite enjoyable, this Annual definitely delivered in terms of entertainment.
