Can Wolverine be a normal girl?
Laura is still trying to deal with her violent tendencies and even though her teammates want to help her, her boyfriend have his own ideas to do so.
Guess what? Yet another issue of character work!
Yes, at this point you should know this is how this series works. Dennis Hopeless focuses this time on Laura and how the usual Wolverine curse of becoming a murder machine affects her. This is not bad thing since is a classic staple of the character and there are some legitimate good moments of exploration and the contrast between Warren and her is nicely executed.
The thing is that the dialogue can be a bit awkward at times with characters speaking in weird and forced manners like constantly cursing to remind us they're teenagers and dropping strange lines here and there. This is pretty unexplicable since the dialogue has been pretty solid up to this point.
Aside from that, there's some plot progression hinting that there's a bigger threat coming and hopefullly will show all is connected.
Mark Bagley continues in art duties and one has to admire his consistency at delivering decent artwork with expressive characters and strong action scenes.
Not one of the best issues from this series quite frankly. The next one better be better.
