The Teen Titans will need to demonstrate they're heroes once again.
The team just managed to escape from Amanda Waller and now they will be forced to face the H.I.V.E. Queen and her power to manipulate people.
What else can I say about this book and Tony Bedard?
Yes, yet another issue that encapsulates perfectly what this writer's work represents: Complete blandness. The characterization is average, story is average, fight scenes are average, dialogue is average, the whole installment is completely average. Nothing about this impresses you in the slightlest.
Even the way how the team manages to defeat the Queen seems quite dull despite that it TRIES to be creative by delivering a solution so out there that people only familiar with the subject will understand but is explained in such a boring way that makes you forget about it.
Miguel Mendonca handles the artwork and is solid with expressive characters and an appealing style.
Other than that, this was yet another underwhelming story in a career full of them.
