Some thoughts about Future Quest #4

Can the most powerful heroes in the universe stop the upcoming threat?

Not even the combined forces of powerful beings like Mightor and Space Ghost can stop their enemies but they're about to receive even more help.

Um, I think this title is starting to get a bit too crowded for its own good.

Jeff Parker offers a new chapter where he continues to reinvent classic Hanna Barbera heroes for this particular mission and credit where credit is due, he does a solid job at presenting most of them in way that captures their original essence while at the same time delivering strong scenes in terms of action and story.

However, in many instances I feel like there are too many characters. The focus jumps from one to another almost without a rest and for that reason you can't get to know each individual to actually be invested in them. I think it would have been more effective if the series would have concentrated on a limited cast for the initial storyline and then reintroduce the rest arc by arc but sadly that's not the case.

Doc Shaner, Ron Randall and Parker himself handle art duties and their work maintains a consistent style during the main action scenes, the ones focusing on the villains and the last one being about a fun story about Frankenstein Jr respectively. No complaints here.

This is fun at points but I wish there was a better way to handle this cast.
